In the spirit of representing the multicultural community we serve, we are seeking board members with experience working in diverse communities of underserved populations. We are currently accepting applications to join the board of The Friends. Contact us at friends@friendsofglbtyouth.org.
Intern may make a flexible work schedule, dedicating between 15-20 hours per week on average, depending on the needs of any specific week. Among the responsibilities of the Intern will be:
- Communicating with universities and colleges
- Liaising with the Massachusetts Commission on GLBT Youth around events and fundraisers
- Outreach to the community to assess currents needs
- Making regular progress reports to the Board.
